Dr. Nisha Amol Chavhan is a seasoned legal educator with over 16 years of Practice and 12 years teaching experience. Currently, she serves as a member of the Maharashtra State Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission in Aurangabad.
Dr. Nisha Amol Chavhan completed her education at SGBA University, Amravati, and earned a First Merit in PDGHR. She demonstrated her Academic prowess by clearing the UGC NET in 2012. Her doctoral research focused on the critical analysis of “women’s Reproductive Rights from both National and International perspectives, with a specific emphasis on Feminist Jurisprudence”.
Dr. Nisha Amol Chavhan’s core areas include Criminal laws Criminal, Consumer Protection Laws and Human Rights. In addition to her academic accomplishments, she has published over 16 articles in renowned National and International journals and books, covering a wide range of topics within her field of expertise. Her recent work includes a book on the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita-2023. She has also invited as a resource person in numerous seminars, conferences, workshops, refresher courses, and faculty development programs.
