Hon’ble Smt. Kalyani Sanjay Kapse

Mrs Kalyani Sanjay Kapse has Joined Maharashtra State Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission, Circuit Bench at Nagpur w.e.f. 11/10/2023. Her last working day will be 11/10/2027. She was born on 11/01/1969 in Nagpur. (M.S.) She has completed her graduation in Science (B.Sc.) in Microbiology from R.T.M. Nagpur University in 1989. She has completed her LL.B. from I.L.S. Law College, Pune of Pune University and done her Masters in LL.M. (Labour Law) from PGTD, Nagpur of R.T.M. Nagpur University. She has cleared UGC SET (Law) with flying colours. Also completed Diploma in Cyber Law from Asian School of Cyber Law, Pune. Completed her higher education in Nagpur and Pune. Having fifteen years Teaching experience (Clock Hour Basis as well as Contractual Basis) in the field of Law in R.T.M. Nagpur University’s Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar College of Law, Nagpur. She worked as Co-ordinator Moot Court Association (MCA) of the College for Ten years. Special achievement is she has successfully run Legal Aid Clinic for Ten Years established by District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Nagpur. Having experience of conducting Legal Aid Camps. She is seasoned guest speaker on “POSH” Act, 2013 and delivered more than Twenty Five guest lectures. Always spoke on Rights of Women and Prisoners and Cyber Crime and Mediation. Presented Research Papers in various National and International Seminars. And also attended National and International Conferences. Her scholarly articles are published in various Law Journals. Currently she is pursuing her Research for Ph.D. in Law. Title of her Research is “Digital Media and Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code ) Rules 2021: A Critical Study in the light of Fundamental Rights Under Article 19 (1) (a) r. w. Article 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India.
